CNC Laser Profiling
Laser Cutting is an extremely accurate method of cutting both thick and thin metal. A Laser focused beam is used to melt material in a localised area, at the same time a co-axial gas jet blows the molten material from the cut, thus allowing a continuous cut to be produced either by moving the work piece or laser beam controlled by CNC. All work carried out by this machine is programmed by our technical engineering team using the latest in CAD/CAM software with a DNC link to the machine. Capabilities of our machines below.
Both our Amada Laser machines have their own range of depth to cut and various materials they can cut through, below shows each machines ranges and limits.
Amada F0 M11 3015 NT
This is our larger machine of the two that we have in operation, this machine can handle up to 3000mm x 1500mm sheets and cuts up to 15mm Stainless Steel and 25mm Mild Steel with its 4Kw Laser.
Amada Alpha 1212
This is the smaller machine of the 2, although not as big as the F0 M11, it can still do the work needed and more, it can handle 3000mm x 1250mm sheets up to 10mm Stainless Steel and 12mm Mild Steel with its 2Kw Laser.
